Glenn Barton – Director of Tennis- USPTA Pro 1

Glenn comes to Cordillera after being the Director of Tennis at Oak Hills Country Club for 17 years. Glenn grew up in San Antonio and by his senior year of high school, he was ranked 2nd nationally in doubles. He went on to play tennis at The University of Texas at Austin. After college, he played German Club tennis and the French circuit. He has been ranked #1 Open Division Singles Player of 3 times. He was the second ranking member of the winning Dubler Cup team that represented the United States in Perth, Australia at the World Championships. 

Glenn loves sports of all kinds. Of course, nothing is better than an afternoon or (even better) a whole day of fishing, especially fly fishing. He always looks forward to his yearly summer excursion to Crested Butte, Colorado where he can cool off in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and hook the big one.

Hobbies/Interests:  I enjoy hiking, camping, photography and puzzles.     
 
Favorite aspect of Cordillera Ranch: I love to teach dance and tennis to juniors, which would make camp opportunities my favorite feature out here at Cordillera Ranch. Easy access to the parks, river, studio, pools and trails truly makes the camps successful. I remember how fun and exciting camps were when I was young, so it is my goal to make all campers experiences at the Ranch unique and unforgettable.
