Shooting Instruction

Learn to shoot with Ralph Winingham or Leo McDermott.

Ralph is an active competitor and journalist who has participated in and reported on all types of shotgun shooting events throughout Texas for nearly three decades. Winingham is certified as a NSCA Level II Instructor, in addition to his current ranking as a AA Class shooter.  He has hundreds of hours of teaching experience with youngsters, women and veteran shooters. Winingham began his competitive shooting career as a member of the Tiro Al Pichon Association in the late 1970s, winning the 1984 TAPA Live Flyer World Championship held in San Antonio   , Texas .  He has also worked with youth groups across Texas in developing the young and women shooters vital to growing the sport of sporting clays.

Leo is a NSCA Level III Instructor and brings over 20 years of teaching experience to the gun club with youth, women and men shooters alike.
