Fishing Resources & Wildlife Information

Our angler education clinics use Swede Park Lake and the Guadalupe River. The Rod Club offers private instruction and education for both fly fishing and spin casting techniques, and several fly fishing guides from the local area lead our guided fishing trips on the Guadalupe River for club members and guest.

Swede Creek Lake

The lake is quite healthy and has a large population of game fish including large mouth bass and many sunfish species. The lake is also home to a few long nose gar, turtle and the diamond back water snake. Fishing in Swede Creek Lake is catch and release only. A great way to fish the lake is by kayak, so contact us for a kayak reservation.
