Fishing Equipment Rental & Guided Trips

Fishing Equipment Rental
Upon reservation, we’ll deliver your rented fishing equipment to your residence in Cordillera Ranch, or meet you at Swede Creek Lake or the river. We’ll then arrange to pick the equipment up from you to complete your reservation. We’ll give you a quick orientation on use of the equipment, teach you a fishing knot, and send you off on your fishing adventure. If you're fishing in the Guadalupe River off of the ranch, be sure to have a Texas state resident fishing license! We’ll outfit our bait casting and spin casting rigs with a hook and bobber for fishing at Swede Creek Lake. The Bergheim General Store carries worms for $4.99 and a small selection of lures and tackle.

The Outfitter Center has a live well in the Fall and Winter full of minnows. During other times, just call us to arrange your bait pick up at least one day in advance.

Guided Fishing at Swede Creek Lake

Fishing at Swede Creek Lake is a fun and easy adventure for anyone interested in fishing. The lake has an abundant population of large mouth bass and many species of sun fish. The lake is catch and release.
