Boarding

The Equestrian Club offers a Boarding Program for Member’s horses. The board packages are outlined below. Members may create their own family custom package of services beyond the Full Board Package. The Equestrian Manager will meet with Member families and assist in creating a custom board package that serves the individual families’ needs in terms of service and exercise.

The manager organizes trail rides, lessons, exercise and training for boarded horses at the Equestrian Center. The Equestrian Center can also organize training opportunities with area trainers as needed by Members.
 

Full Board

  $550    

Includes customized and individualized care, feed, hay, bedding and cleaning, blanketing, and turn out. Board stalls are 12x12 with an outdoor 12x40 run. Each stall has rubber mats, fan, and automatic water trough.

Full Board + Maintenance

$650

Includes the full board plus exercise twice per week.

Full Board + Training

$850

Includes the full board plus a full training regimen agreed upon by the member and Equestrian Manager.

Pasture Boarding

$350

Includes individualized care, feed, and hay in an outdoor paddock with water and grazing.

BOARD POLICIES:

·         A Boarding Agreement and Release Form must be completed and signed by both parties prior to a horse’s arrival at the Equestrian Center.

·         All horses brought to the Equestrian Center must have a valid Health Certificate, current negative Coggins (EIA) test, and all vaccinations must be up to date at least two weeks prior to arrival.

·         Leased facilities, which are not in use by the boarder, may be used by the Equestrian Center until the boarder returns.

·         Leased facilities may not be sub-leased.

·         Care instruction changes must be made in writing.

·         Please note that the team members cleaning up the equestrian center and providing daily labor support may not all speak English well. Please direct all care needs to the Equestrian Manager.

GUESTS and GUEST HORSES:

·         A Release Form must be completed and signed by both parties prior to a horse’s arrival at the Equestrian Center. All guest horses must have a valid Health Certificate, current negative Coggins (EIA) test, and all vaccinations must be up to date at least two weeks prior to arrival.

·         A release form must be completed and signed by the Member and Guest for a guest’s day use of any of the equestrian facilities.

·         Members will have priority over guests in the use of the arenas for lessons or training.

Lessons and Training:

Lessons or training sessions can be scheduled through the Equestrian Center Office. At the discretion of management, boarders may invite outside trainers to school them. Trainers must provide the Equestrian Center with written proof of insurance and sign a release for the Instructor and their students.

All scheduled lessons must be on the Master Schedule Board outside of the Lounge. Instruction voice levels should be kept to a minimum and the use of a two-way personal communication system is encouraged.       

A 48-hour cancellation policy is required for all lessons booked with the Equestrian Center. Please be on time for your lesson, if you are late, you will be charged from the reserved time until completion and if other rides or lessons are booked, your lesson will have to end at the reserved time.

A 30 day written notice must be given to the Equestrian manager prior to a horse leaving the faciltiy or the training program, or all fees will be forfeited.

TURNOUT and HORSE HANDLING:

·         Both parties must agree upon turnout with multiple horses. Equestrian Center Management must be notified of such agreements.

·         Equestrian Center Management must be notified of permission granted to persons other than the owner to handle a horse. If no permission is on file, only Equestrian Center Staff will be allowed to handle a horse outside of the owner. All riders must sign a contract that releases, holds harmless and indemnifies The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch and its affiliates from any and all liability, cost or expense relating to the use of the Equestrian facilities.

ARENA USE:

·         Lungeing is preferred in the Round Pen to protect the footing of the main arena.

·         The arena and round pen may be used for turnout only if horses are supervised and only until another member wishes to use the arena for training.

·         Arenas will be groomed frequently. No horses should be in the arena with grooming equipment.
